Happy Christmas Eve’s Eve to you all. It was a quiet weekend on the political front as Speaker Johnson found a way to convince most of the Democrats to go along with the continuing resolution bill, and they had enough votes to keep this new holiday tradition of political drama a little more low-key than years past.
