Another week has come again. The older I get, the faster these weeks go. I spent the weekend at another swim meet, and then spent some time yesterday watching Grand Prix, the old James Garner movie from the ‘60s, with my kids. I have never been a huge car racing fan, but the racing movies that have been released lately piqued my curiosity about that old movie. It is really well done, and I have to believe that the camera work and innovative use of the screen in screenshots would have been revolutionary at the time. If you haven’t seen it, it is worth the couple of hours. Great acting and fantastic cinematography. Over the weekend the Big Beautiful Bill made its way through the Senate and got even worse than the crap version the House sent to them.
