It’s a little more complex than the next version of Manifest Destiny, but it is still something to understand why the conversations are happening and what is driving the push this time. By the way, the desire for the US to own or have control over Greenland is nothing new - having the country become a part of the United States has been proposed multiple times before. Still, I am not a fan of expanding the footprint of our nation unless Greenland has some interest in voluntarily joining.
