This farmers-marketeer centrist/independent agrees with you. What a ride it has been since 2020. I remember trying to make sense of the madness while having no previous interest in politics, and not relating to any mainstream narrative being broadcasted and regurgitated. I was also immersed in all the COVID controversy and civil unrest in a busy So-Cal metro area as a police officer and single mother.

Seeing your videos and posts, Brett Weinstein’s lab leak podcasts, and Teddy Macker’s Front Porch Republic articles made a huge impact on me during that time. When RFK, Jr. entered the conversation, I was obsessively inspired and hopeful.

As my two high school-aged children struggled (as did so many others) with the lockdowns and after-effects of our City’s politicization of seemingly everything foundational to our family’s well-being, I turned toward your work and those of a small but out spoken collective of voices.

Eventually, the realization that it all will ever be political theater with no accountability, and that the vast majority of society has the shortest of memories and no longer values truth (or maybe can’t define it enough to assign value), wore my hope down. I stopped pouring into the articles, Substacks, posts and podcasts. What was the point?

My oldest son still struggles in ways that are immeasurably irreversible, and my daughter is finding her way, but also struggled. I want to be angry and to see accountability for what felt like a highjacking of our lives and all that could have been during a very precious and pivotal time in my children’s upbringing. But, I have moved on and compartmentalized, recognizing how little control we truly have, and how best to focus our time and attention.

I’m glad you are still writing, and I enjoy your articles, so please keep them coming. I’ve started to peek back in, and I’m sure there are many of us who still relate to you and value your perspective.

Rational discourse by a competent source. Scarcely healed of his TDS but honest enough to point out the disparity of the authority gained by just being anti Trump. I personally understand the hostility of the mild TDS sufferers but try to have a rational perspective on the alternatives offered. I believe the exposure by Rand Paul and the bandwagon gang that sat silent for so long will affect future situations in a positive way. The media's complicity is documented and retained by many. Again my faith and optimism hold fast that improvements are coming. May a turning point be near. Blessings.
