My article yesterday at House In Habit about the performative journalist, Laura Loomer, reminded me of this older piece I did last year during the campaign. The reality of the press in today’s world is that our responsibility becomes heightened the more voices that are introduced into the cacophony of people trying to discuss the state of the nation. The old media is dying a very slow death, and they remain propped up by dollars that, if not there, would have long ago bankrupted their companies. Their replacements, the Laura Loomers of the world, are only a different kind of the same irresponsibility. How should we deal with information as individuals, or communities, or a nation? Perhaps it comes back to education. What we know of our governments and the philosophy behind what makes up our ideals is how we can learn to discern the truth. That is the imperative.
This week, I am out fishing with some old friends, so I appreciate your patience with the lack of news coverage. I have tried to tune out more than normal, and the good discussions around coffee and the sound of a creek have made more impact on my mind than worrying about the next Washington crisis.
I was pleased to see RFK start to take on the mRNA vaccine stuff, but it may be short-lived if the pharmaceutical whores get their way. It sounds like Kennedy and Trump are meeting today, and I am sure that Kennedy will get told that this isn’t acceptable to the President and his surrounding pharma people. (Here’s looking at you, Susie Wiles.)
In case you missed the article yesterday, here is the HIH piece on Laura Loomertoons
