The deep state sure knows how to provoke its citizens, doesn’t it? Last night in the wee small hours of the morning, Joe Biden - yea, I’m sure it was him - preemptively pardoned the worst actors in the terrible American saga of the last 8 years. Mark Milley, the general with medals from his shoulder to scrotum and no wars won to show for it, all of the January 6th clowns who have put people in jail for the last four years with no consequence, and my personal favorite, Anthony Fauci. The diminutive doctor who ruined the world with his own brand of Franken-science. I’ll start with a few disclaimers. I’m mad as hell about this. I’m not surprised, I had no expectations that this wasn’t going to happen. The state loves itself and wasn’t going to go without making sure they shoved their middle finger right in our face.
I have never met Anthony Fauci, but I’m no fan of what I’ve seen. I have more anger for that character in this story than anyone else. His insatiable love of power and money means that in a just world, he would be the first person up in front of the tribunal. No penalty could be extracted to ever repay the lost businesses, mental health, children, or lives that have been ruined by his arrogance and hubris.
But here we are, just a few hours before many of us think that things are about to change for the better, and the puppeteers have made sure to take the wind out of the sails before the party can get started.
In an almost premonition-style conversation last night, a few of the video editors that I have worked with from MAHA Action/Alliance got together for dinner to celebrate and meet in person. It was a lovely night - and on a personal note, something very powerful. My day job is never surrounded by conversations that really get at deep meaning, but in a back room at a great restaurant last night, this team of editors and creators spared no time in getting to the heart of things. Meaningful things matter, and being surrounded by people who are looking for meaning has a huge impact on your soul. After we ventured into our conversations about COVID and relayed our stories about why that incident changed our personal trajectories, one of the editors asked, “Why do you think they do it?”
His question was, brilliantly stated, in the present tense because none of this is over. The thugs in the deep state will not go away quietly, and they have no interest in seeing anything change. We all stated our thoughts about why - I personally think it’s an ancient draw where some men believe themselves made of better clay, and they think it is imperative that they rule over us. It’s a tale as old as time - dark men and women want the drug of power. The editor who asked the question politely agreed and then said, “I think it’s deeper than that.”
He proceeded to explain how the extraction of power from people is a force they need to survive on. Power is a zero-sum game. If you have it, I don’t and the only way to get that power is to take it from you. That means that the pursuit isn’t ever going to be an amicable one. There’s no abundance in this game.
Watching Fauci walk from his crimes without ever even being charged indicates that the editor was exactly right. These people aren’t like you and me, where power is something we stay away from in our daily lives. We generally respect others, love our kids, and have dinner with our neighbors. We don’t need to extract anything from that life to be happy. But the powerful do. They live on power like it’s the only food they ever eat. Today’s nonsense pardons from the sockpuppet make it abundantly clear that this isn’t a hyperbolic statement. They have to have the power, or they die.
Walking around Washington D.C. last night, it was abundantly clear that the people here to celebrate their political victory that is embodied in the person of Trump or Kennedy or Tulsi don’t belong here. We are the rabble, and they can’t wait for us to leave. The city is empty of the usual suspects. The people who move the needles of power in this city are in their homes in St. Barts or the Hamptons this weekend. The riff-raff smell and talk funny, so these creepy power suckers will gladly vacate D.C. until we all leave Wednesday. They believe that by March, all of this will be over, and they can get back to sucking us dry.
I won’t have it.
This is a long fight for America, we won an election…a single battle in a huge war. Whoopie.
Liberty takes vigilance and guarding of the power center they want to take from you and me. They know that they only survive if they do it. In scripture, there is a strange story that one of my editor friends discussed in the context of this thought about power. It’s an odd story - and for my non-believing readers, please forgive the call back to a religious text to describe the moment, but wisdom can come from anywhere. The book of Matthew in chapter 8, verses 28-34 says this:
28 And when He came to the other side into the country of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men confronted Him as they were coming out of the tombs. They were so extremely violent that no one could pass by that way. 29 And they cried out, saying, “[a]What business do You have with us, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before [b]the time?” 30 Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding at a distance from them. 31 And the demons begged Him, saying, “If You are going to cast us out, send us into the herd of pigs.” 32 And He said to them, “Go!”And they came out and went into the pigs; and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and [c]drowned in the waters. 33 And the herdsmen ran away, and went to the city and reported everything, [d]including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. 34 And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw Him, they pleaded with Him to leave their region.
Dr. Fauci needs a preemptive pardon so that he isn’t tormented before his time. Sadly, there are no pigs near here to cast Fauci’s demons into. His criminality and sinisterness are dark. Perhaps no other character in my lifetime of watching politics is darker. He’s accused of torturing beagles and orphans, and if the book The Real Anthony Fauci by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is even partially accurate, you and I are the victims of this madman’s thirst for power.
The deep state stuck its middle finger in our face. I’m not taking it this time.
Tune in later today for updates on the inauguration of President Trump
Good thing God is still in charge of this whole thing and He’s a just judge. Exceptionally perceptive and thoughtful article, brother. Thanks for sharing. Hearing a strong counter stance first thing in the face of this nonsense encourages us all to keep standing and fighting for righteousness. Here in CA we need all the encouragement we can get. Your writing is fuel and a fresh sip of coffee. Thanks again.
While certainly expected...it was still quite a gut punch this morning that caused a more visceral reaction for me than any other news headline in recent memory.
