And the home of Buck Brannaman♥️, my teacher for the past 3 decades. Go watch the colt starting at his place this year. It’ll give you something else to write about.
I read old America 🇺🇸 and I’m sold! Didn’t think I could love any place more than Jackson Hole, but I’m thinking Sheridan might be more of what we are looking for. (I read your article to my husband on our long drive to northern Minnesota for vacation this week, he agreed, your description sounds amazing! This might just be next year’s trip!)
It’s so wonderful. I’m probably overly sentimental about it but it’s so beautiful and if you can time your trip around rodeo you should! Stuff books up fast and tickets go quickly once they go on sale in the spring but it’s just an incredible spot. The wagon box inn is worth looking into too for conferences or just a great afternoon in the mountains.
Good to know! We both felt like it was a personal itinerary for everything we would be interested in doing, so your honesty and appreciation for the area helps.
My husband is in Sheridan right now. I wish I had gone with him. The WYO Rodeo is definitely on my radar. Possibly his only opportunity to get me to travel in his “One Man Van” as I like to call it. Too tiny for me. I’m more of an Airstream girl. Hope you are doing well. God Bless America🇺🇸❤️✌🏼
Sheridan 😍 I grew up in a tiny town called Hamilton, MT. Population, 3,000, at the time. We always drove through Sheridan on road trips to Colorado, where I live now.
Loved reading this! As our homeschool year is drawing to a close you have inspired me to take our boys to see some of these fabulous places in our home state. 🙌🏻❤️

Thank you for sharing your memories and the rich history of this place!
Sheridan is now on the list. Thanks.
It’s worth the trek!
I fully expected to read that you visited the Dutton ranch:-)
'nice change of pace!
No but there’s a lot of people that live that life around there.
